Thomas Reid Richards Jr., age 77, passed away September 25, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born March 12, 1942, in Standardville, Utah to Thomas Reid and Rosa Carolina Richards.

Thomas honorably served his country in the Vietnam War. Although retired, he spent his working years at Pacific States Pipe as an environmentalist.

He loved the outdoors. His fondest memories were those shared with family while camping and fishing.

Thomas will be dearly missed by his family and is once again reunited with his parents.

Survived by two sons and three daughters, Thomas Layne Richards, Elk Ridge, Utah; Carolyn (Matt) Ray, Herriman, Utah; Bridget (Matt) Lloyd, Holladay, Utah; Stacy Cook, Santaquin, Utah; Nick (Julie) Srogus, Eagle Mountain, Utah; brother, Bob Richards, Helper, Utah; sister, Barbara Barnum, Spring Glen, Utah; 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved parents and infant sister Peggy Jean.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at Mt. View Cemetery in Helper, with a visitation at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street, Price, Utah) from 9:30-11 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Thomas online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
