Jose Ramon Ruiz, 39, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday October 18, 2019 while at work. He was born November 26, 1979, Oaxaca Mexico to Juan Ruiz Cortes and Enriquetta Moreno. Ramon married Brenda Elkface on July 26, 2003 at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church in Price, Utah. They have three children, Bryann (Rudy Jr. Sanchez), Jose Jr. Ruiz, Nellene Ruiz, and three grandchildren, Briella, Jezabelle and Lucillius Sanchez.

Ramon was a great man who loved his children, friends, family, grandkids and his nieces and nephews. Above all, he loved his sweet wife Brenda. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, fishing, camping, UFC fights, barbecuing and porch sitting. Ramon loved his Savage family, his home away from home where he worked for 10 years in the coal terminal. Ramon was a tireless worker who gave every ounce of effort to provide for his family.

May God grant the fullness of his soul for being a good son, father and brother. He always fought for his family.

Ramon is survived by his wife Brenda; children, Bryann (Rudy Jr. Sanchez), Salt Lake City, Utah, Jose Jr. Ruiz, Price, Nellene Ruiz, Price; parents, Enriquetta Moreno Carballido and Juan Ruiz Cortes; siblings, Armando, Juan, Mariano, Amando, Diego, Emilia, Martha; father-in-law, Pete (Rita) Elkface, Price; brothers-in-law, Tommy (Beverly) Elkface, Salt Lake City, Utah, Wade Olsen, Price; sister-in-law, Roxanne Olsen, American Fork; nieces and nephews, Logan, Emily, Zoe and Abby; three grandchildren, Briella, Jezabelle and Lucillius Sanchez.

Funeral Mass, Thursday, October 24, 2019, 10:00 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service, Wednesday evening, 7:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at Mitchells Wednesday and Thursday one hour prior to services. Committal, Cliffview Cemetery.
