Vikki Renee (Winders) Christensen, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019. She had experienced declining health for some time. She is now at peace and resides with those who preceded her but will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by the rest of us who knew and loved her.
Vikki was born in Price, Utah on June 21, 1949 to Renee Jenkins and Bud Winders. She was raised primarily in Wellington, Utah with her beloved grandparents, Paul and Hawley Jenkins. She married Lannie Thompson, who preceded her in death in 1970. Together they had two sons, Troy and Ryan. She later married Clark Christensen on October 16, 1970 and had two daughters, Misty and Siegred. She and Clark made their home on a farm in Lawrence, Utah, where they happily raised their four children.
Vikki was a homemaker on the farm. She and Clark provided a good home for their children and loved all of them dearly. Her home was later a playground for her grandchildren, a place they will always cherish and never forget the memories they had with her there. Aside from the love for her family, she also enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, and collecting antiques. Her home was her museum, and she loved showing friends and family her beloved collection. Many of her antiques were found while traveling the country with her husband Clark, where they shared countless memories together.
She is survived by her stepfather, Kenneth Olson; children, Troy Thompson, Ryan Thompson, Misty (Christensen) Scott, and Siegred Christensen; brother Kip (Sherrie) Olson; aunt/sister Kelly (Lannie) Burnside; grandchildren, Korshten and Jaden Scott, Shayla and Kayla Thompson, and five great-grandchildren.
Vikki is preceded in death by her husband Clark; parents; grandparents; and sister Tracy.
