The 2nd Annual San Rafael Art Guild Show and Sale will be taking place on Friday, November 1 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday, November 2 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Legacy Event Center in Huntington.

“This is our 2nd annual San Rafael Art Guild Show and Sale. We are having about 15 artists from our local area and the artwork is ranging from anywhere from paintings, we’ve got some bronze sculptures, some jewelry artists, all kinds of things,” said local artist, KaeLynn Winn. This is a perfect time for community members to see the talented workings from artists in the Castle Country area. Guests will have the opportunity to see a wide array of items by each artist and have a chance to speak with them about their work.

The San Rafael Art Guild is a newly established group of artists in the area. “Our motto is create, grow and appreciate. Our logo is a Sego Lily, which is very appropriate symbolism of a hearty Pioneer spirit for our area and basically we’re just a place for local artists to come together for support, learning, teaching and inspiration,” said Winn.  To learn more about the coming and goings of the group you can join their Facebook page.

There will be entertainment and food available at the San Rafael Art Guild Show and Sale. “We are having two live bands. Friday night we have the Route 10 band coming and they pay a little bit of old country western style music, old rock and roll, a little bit of bluesy music, a little bit. Then on Saturday night we have a band coming and they’re from the St George area and the name of that band is Crossroads,” said Winn. Food items will be made available for purchase from two food trucks scheduled for the event, Getting Our Smoke On and KP Kitchens, as well as, Carmel Childs with her delicious desserts.
