Anthony (Tony) Stoiber, 73, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 at his home in Price, Utah.

Tony was born on December 22, 1945 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Robert and Dorothy Johnston Stoiber.

Tony served in the United States Navy where he served one year and 10 months in Vietnam.  Tony was a tireless worker who was employed at Kohler Company in Kohler, WI for many years until his move to Price. While residing in the area, Tony was known to many as “Concrete Tony” where he was a dedicated and loyal employee of Wall Contractors up until his retirement.

He married Helen (Clark) Stoiber on November 26, 2016.

Tony took great pride in everything he did and was well known for his incredible work ethic and friendship.  He touched the lives of many and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Tony is survived by his wife, Helen (Clark) Stoiber; daughter, Angela (Guy) Mertzig, grandchildren, Veronica (Steven) Norton, Nick Mertzig; great-granddaughters, Addison and Isabella; step-children Jody and Mandy Lindstom; Matt and Bobbie White; 11 step-grandchildren; sister, Jean; brother, Paul; brother-in-law, Jack; and many nieces and nephews.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy; a sister, Fran; three brothers, John, Peter, and infant brother Bobby.

Tony’s family would like to give a special thanks to Lee Madsen and Jack Graves for being wonderful, caring and devoted friends of Tony’s for many years. Thank you to Willow Spivey-Jones for her comfort, care and love to Tony and his family.

A gathering and a celebration of life will be held at the Elks Lodge (57 W Main Street, Price Utah) on Monday, November 18, 2019 from 6-8pm.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Tony online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
