The Friends Board of the Carbon/Emery Children’s Justice Center (CJC) would like to invite the entire community to the Castle Country Christmas Tree Regalia taking place on December 4, 5 and 6 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Carbon County Event Center.
“This is our third year doing the Christmas Tree Regalia. I want to mention that the regalia is put on, organized 100 percent by our Friends Board and they have been working around the clock organizing this event so we’re just really grateful for all the work that they are putting in to another successful Christmas Tree Regalia,” said Children’s Justice Center Director, Shelly Wright. Members of the board come from all walks of life and are happy to be part of an organization that is designed to be a resource for parents and children.
The admission to the Christmas Tree Regalia is $3.00 for adults, $2.00 children and $10.00 per family. “100 percent of the proceeds goes back into the Children’s Justice Center and Family Support Center and these funds helps us support operating expenses, and help us to work on projects, like improvements such as our playground, recording equipment, projects like those to keep us running,” explained Wright. Since 1996 the CJC serves the community by helping children and their families build stronger and healthier relationships.
This year guests will have the chance to see numerous elaborate Christmas trees on display and this could make it difficult to narrow down which ones to place a bid on. “We have about 66 trees donated by various organizations, individuals, businesses. It’s been amazing the support that we are receiving from all of these agencies and individuals we just couldn’t do it without the community,” said Wright. Sometimes there is a friendly banter that goes on between various decorators, especially, when it comes to sports-themed trees.
There will be live entertainment and performances by local groups and individuals. Holiday shopping will be made available in Santa’s Gift Shop which the elves have fully stocked the shelves with various items like artwork, holiday décor, furniture and other lovely crafts.
The Friends Board of the Carbon/Emery Children’s Justice Center would like to thank all of the participants and are looking forward to seeing everyone attend the Christmas Tree Regalia.
