Castle Country Radio Stations Eleventh Annual Poinsettias of Love took place this week for elderly residents in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This annual event brings Christmas cheer to elderly residents, who are our greatest treasure that deserve a little something extra special during the holidays.

The idea for the event came from the Radio Station owner, Paul Anderson’s father, Tom who had heard of the idea from another radio station back east and he knew that this was something special he would love to bring to the Castle Country area. Paul has continued the long-standing radio station tradition since his father’s passing.

Currently, Santa has a very busy schedule and recruited the employees at the radio station, and from Rocky Mountain Health Care for assistance in delivering 250 beautiful plants. Santa’s Elves made deliveries to Pinnacle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Heirloom Inn, Parkdale Health & Rehab, Good Life Assisted Living all in Price, plus Emery County Care and Rehab Center in Ferron, Good Life Assisted Living in Elmo, as well as Canyonlands Care Center in Moab.

This small act of Christmas kindness brings such joy to residents and would not be possible without the generous sponsors who are Pierce Oil & Gas, Castleview Hospital, Charles Pawn, Carbon School District, Carbon Country Club, Carbon Recreation, Dunkers/Southeast Paint & Design, Edgy Bling, Gold West Industries, Good Life Assisted Living, Hard Hat Furniture & Appliance, IFA Country Stores, Jones ACE Hardware, Larry’s Boat, Lee’s Music, Little Learners of Price, Magnuson Lumber, Ramada by Wyndham, Smart Health Pharmacy, Spectrum Paint Supply, Swift Stop & Shop, and Tram Electric Inc.,
