Castleview Hospital along with Utah State University Extension and the CARE Coalition is excited to offer Quick and Easy Cooking Classes for adults. This event will take place at the USU-Extension Classroom located inside the Carbon County Administration Building at 751 East 100 North, Suite #1700 in Price.
“Beginning in January we are going to begin some adult classes, Quick and Easy Cooking. The first one will be Instant Pot Cooking so you’ll learn how to create healthy meals using an Instant Pot. Our main goal is to help families have a meal together as a family, at least once a day or a couple times a week,” said an Event Organizer, Christina Pay. These monthly classes will be offered up through June of 2020 and each month will be a different topic. Attendees will have an opportunity to take home recipes and door prizes.
The Quick and Easy Cooking schedule is as follows:
January 15 Instant Pot
February 12 Soups & Breads
March 10 Slow Cooker
April 8 Mixes
May 13 Freezer Meals
June 10 Salads & Summer Meals
The classes are all free, open to the public and space is limited. To register for each of the courses please visit Eventbrite under Quick & Easy Cooking. Any questions about the classes please call the USU Extension Office at (435) 636-3233.
