Donald Frank “Red” Pierce, age 89, passed away January 31, 2020 at his home.

He was born October 27, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri to Lyle and Elizabeth Eibert Pierce.

Married Mary Ann Fazzio January 18, 1968 in Elko, Nevada.

Red enjoyed fishing, camping and playing pool. He like to go walking and working in his yard. He was a great story teller and had a passion for horses. Red was a member of the U. M. W. A. District 22 local #6363. He and Mary Ann were snowbirds in Alamogordo, NM. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survived by his wife, Mary Ann Pierce, Helper; brother, Wayne L. Lamer, Olathe, KS.; daughter, Marian Elizabeth Urdahl, Floresville, TX; granddaughter, Breighanna Elizabeth Urdahl, Floresville, TX.; step son, Jerry Pappas, Price; step granddaughter, Mary Dawn Scoville, Price; step daughter, Shelley (Ben) Montoya, Spring Glen; step granddaughter, Bret Nicole Arwood, Rock Springs, WY; step grandsons, Billy Montoya, Cedar City, Stephen Montoya, Spring Glen; seven great grandchildren.

At Red’s request there will be no services at this time. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to Rocky Mountain Hospice.
