Ibanez finished right behind Chamberlain in the 500 free, finishing sixth overall. He also ended 8th in the 200 IM.

Both Chamberlain and Ibanez joined Zac Mortensen and Mathew Torres as the four finished 11th in the 200 yard medley relay. Mortensen, Boyd Bradford, Nathan Engar and Spencer Tullis all teamed for a 13th place finish in the 200 free relay.

Saturday’s finale brings an end to a highly successful swim season for Carbon High School. The boy’s team recently finished fourth-place at the Region 12 Championship Meet, which took place Jan. 23 in Price.
