With the completion of the winter sports season, the Emery Spartans are gearing up for the spring schedule, which begins Thursday with baseball, soccer and golf.

Led by third year manager Rob Smith, the Emery baseball team will travel to Mesquite Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The first home game of the season will take place on Tuesday, March 10 against North Sanpete.

Softball will open up the season at home against Carbon on Friday, March 6. The team will participate in its first road game on Tuesday, March 10 against Delta, beginning a lengthy stretch of road games.

Boy’s soccer will travel to St. George to play three games in three days beginning Thursday. The first home game of the season is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10 against the South Sevier Rams.

Track and Field will begin a busy season on Saturday, March 14 with a trip to Union High School. Following seven meets the team will travel to BYU on May 1 and 2, before the region finale on May 6 and 7 at Carbon. State will take place May 15 and 16 at BYU.

The girl’s golf season will consist of six region meets before the division championship on April 23. The state championship will follow on May 6 and 7.
