Carbon High School senior Jordan Bianco has signed to continue her athletic and academic career with Ottawa University, where she will play both basketball and golf.

Bianco wrapped up her high school basketball career in February, finishing as Carbon’s fourth all-time leading scorer. In four seasons she converted 176 three-point shots, ranking eighth all-time in the state of Utah. Bianco also connected on 93-percent of her free throws in the 2019-20 season, which ranks second all-time in the state for a single season percentage.

Individually Bianco earned three consecutive First Team All-Region selections, back-to-back All-State Third Team selections and an All-State Second Team nod in 2019-20. As a student, Bianco ended with a 4.0 GPA, earning an Academic All-State selection.

A multiple sport athlete at Carbon High School, Bianco excelled on the golf course in the spring sports season.

Ending inside the top ten of the region’s individual leaderboard for the past three seasons, she was named a First Team All-State member during her sophomore and junior seasons. As a sophomore she finished fourth at the 3A State Tournament and tied for sixth as a Junior. Again as a student she was a member of the Academic All-State Team with a 4.0 GPA.
