Carbon High School senior Brady Gagon received an honorable mention for his performance during the 2019-20 basketball season.

Gagon’s recognition for his individual play comes following a season where he posted a team best 12.8 points per contest. One of only two seniors on this year’s squad, Gagon became a intricate part of Carbon’s offensive identity.

Scoring 10-plus in 13 of the team’s 21 games, Gagon led the team in field goals made and attempted. His season-high was a 26-point effort in a 64-61 win over Union on Dec. 18.

Carbon ended the season with a 7-15 record overall and a 2-8 mark in the highly competitive Region 12. The season came to an end on Feb. 15 with a loss to the Judge Memorial Bulldogs in the second round of the 3A State Tournament.
