Olive Yuvonne Foote Jewkes, age 85, passed away April 7, 2020 at Parkdale Care Center in Price.

She was born February 3, 1935 in Huntington, Utah to Oscar and Zadella Marshall Foote. Married E. Morris Jewkes, February 9, 1951 in the Manti Temple; he preceded her in death on January 1, 2011.

Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many callings. Yuvonne was part of the first nursing graduates class at the College of Eastern Utah. She then worked as a nurse for Dr. Potter for many years where she made many lasting friendships.  After retiring she was very proud to be a volunteer reader to the children at Creekview Elementary.  Yuvonne loved to camp and fish and loved taking her nephews and grandchildren with her.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Yuvonne is survived by her son and daughter, Kevin (Marilyn) Jewkes, Carbonville, Kathleen (Steven) Page, Henderson, NV; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Alice (Dale) Jewkes, Carbonville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Morris Jewkes; brother, Lanell Foote; and three sisters, Carol Prazen, Norma Baggett and Ina Golding.

Funeral services for immediate family and close friends will be Friday, April 10, 2020, 11:00 a.m., at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price.  Friends are welcome at Mitchell Funeral Home daily from 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.  Burial will be in the Orangeville City Cemetery. The service will be live streamed via the internet accessible on the Mitchell Funeral Home Facebook Page. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Yuvonne online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
