It’s Easter weekend and some families have a tradition to attend church services with their family but since the COVID-19 pandemic that is not possible at this time. However, Price Chapel has been able to conduct church services online and Castle Country Radio caught up with Pastor Steve Swinburne to talk about it.
“So obviously everything has changed with COVID-19 so several weeks ago pivoted to meeting online and that means on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am our services are live-streamed on Facebook live and our website at http://pricechapel.org/ and then by 1:00 pm or so that afternoon we have it on YouTube as well,” said Pastor Swinburne. This has been a bit of an adjustment for the church but so far, it’s been working out quite well.
Price Chapel is looking forward to conducting their Easter Services on Sunday and invite folks to listen. “What we have planned for the service is we’re going to sing some songs. We have a guy that is great at singing and playing guitar who’s going to lead us in some songs about Easter and resurrection. Then we’re creating a kid’s message, kids’ video that will be fun for the kids to see and then I’m going to give a short message called Dirty Laundry and Homemade Angels, a little tease there, and then we’ll also be taking communion together.” Price Chapel warmly welcomes people from all walks of life, regardless of where they are on their journey with God.
For individuals that wish to learn more about Price Chapel can do so very easily as Swinburne explains, “Best way for people to connect with us is to follow us, just to follow us, just search Price Chapel on Facebook or Instagram and you’ll be able to get all the information through following our pages there or you can do http://pricechapel.org/ as well and you’ll be able to connect with what we are doing.” The church’s desire is to give individuals the resources and support to grow with Jesus.
