The Price City weekly update brought in Price City Council Member, Layne Miller into the studio at Castle Country Radio to talk about upcoming Culture Connection concerts and International Days celebration.

The city has been working hard to see if possibly they could share a Culture Connection concert online for residents to watch. “We have found some partners, we have discovered that we can do it technically. Then I had to go to the health department to say, are we ok to bring some people down, a band, put them in the auditorium and live stream it from there and Brady Bradford from the health department was really excited that we were even thinking about it,” said Miller. The only stipulation was to make sure that the bands were not traveling from a county that has banned travel. More information about upcoming concerts will be shared on the city’s Facebook page and with media outlets.

The annual city’s International Celebration that takes place in July is still being planned at this point. “The very last thing I read, and this came from Utah League of Cities & Towns, it’s a statewide organization of towns and cities in the state, and they said don’t cancel your summer activities yet. As of yet, nothing has been canceled and the International Days Committee is determined to do something this summer,” stated Miller. Of course, more information about International Days will come at a later date.
