Randie Hills Hamilton, age 68, died on Memorial Day, May 25, 2020, in Price, Utah, after a long struggle with early onset dementia. Randie was a lifelong resident of Price (Carbon High Class of 1969), a devoted wife, mother, grandma, friend, and a dedicated cosmetician at Smith’s Food for 29 years.

Randie was an intelligent, independent, and compassionate woman who lived to be with, support, and love the people in her life. One of her favorite song lyrics was “Shower the people you love with love” by James Taylor, and she lived to be like that. She loved her husband Steve, her kids, her grandkids, her friends, her coworkers, her neighbors, and all animals.

Randie took pride in always being the “cool mom” who listened to the same rock and roll music as her kids, drove a charcoal Camaro with T-Tops, and wore stylish clothes. She loved collecting Barbies, giving people thoughtful gifts, taking and scrapbooking photos, the Oscars, a good cup of coffee, the Utah Jazz, Ellen, American Idol, Bryan Adams, and “All My Children.”

Randie was never a religious person but she was a spiritual person. She believed that she is now having a wonderful reunion with her parents, Earl and Ruby Hills, her sisters, Pat and Earlene, and all of her favorite pets, including her dog Maxwell.

She will be missed by her husband Steve Hamilton of 30 years, whose dedication in taking care of her was incredible, her daughter, Lisa (Darren) Ward-Mortenson, of Price, her son, Bill (Becca) Ward, her four grandchildren, Molly, Lincoln, Hailey, Ruby and a brother, Tom Hills.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Heirloom Inn for the loving care they provided for the last four years, and also a special thanks to Rocky Mountain Hospice.
