The Price City Library is now open to the public with a few to visit but they do have some conditions that patrons will need to follow so Castle Country Radio caught up with Library Representative, Tawyna Kulow to talk about those.
“Right now, we are open with limited services and hours. We’re open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday and we are only open to receive books, to give books, and to also get on the computers. We do have a limit of 30 minutes for the patrons to be here in the library,” said Kulow. The library will limit the number of visitors to 15 patrons at a time in the building. They also urge patrons to wear masks when visiting but it is not required.
The Summer Reading Program for children will run its course this year with a bit of twist. “They will come one day a week and get the project and take them home and do them in their home and it’s all themed. This year our Summer Reading theme is Imagine Your Story and so it’s on dragons and castles, its been a really fun them to work on,” said Kulow. Families that are interested in participating in the Summer Reading Program must register with the library beforehand. This is to make sure that enough project packets are put together for each participant. To register for the program, call the library at (435) 636-3188
The Summer Reading Program is divided up by ages and the projects will be age appropriate for each category. The project pick-up dates and times are scheduled as follows:
