Our loving mother, grandmother and longtime friend, Della Jean Wilson Heino, 84, passed away June 30, 2020 after a sudden illness.

She was born July 5, 1935 in Carbonville, Utah to Alfred and Mary Marguerite Rowland Wilson.  On November 13, 1954 Jean married Max E. Heino in Spring Canyon, Utah.  He preceded her in death on October 25, 2019.

Jean was a longtime resident of Carbon County who loved caring for others.  She enjoyed the peace and tranquility of Helper, especially while on her walks.  She was an excellent baker who loved sharing her fudge and divinity with everyone during the holidays.  Jean and Max loved camping and snowmobiling with their friends and family.  She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Terri (David) Shimmin, Springville, Lorri (Raymond) Garcia, Helper; six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Max E. Heino; grandson, Skyler Shimmin; three sisters, Afton Gough, Yvonne Trudell and Ruby Lunelli Sporcich; and her brother, Milton Wilson.

Jean’s family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Jerri Burgess and Fred Crespin for their unbelievable care and friendship that she shared with mom.  Your many acts of kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.
