Carbon High’s Girls Tennis team had a busy first week with two home matches on Monday and Tuesday, the rest of the week would find them on the road. Wednesday they would take on Ben Lomond and Bear River and on Thursday they would travel to Logan for the Cache Valley Tournament where they would face Mountain Crest, Tooele and Gunnison.

Starting the season with two losses Carbon hoped that their fortunes would change on the road and in the first matches of the day they would face Ben Lomond defeating them 5-0. Next up on the same day They faced Bear River and they would fall go winless in all matches 0-5.

Thursday the first team faced was from Mountain Crest High School and Carbon would fall 0-6. The final two matches of the Cache Valley Tournament were a different story with Carbon taking victories in both matches a 4-2 win against Tooele and 6-0 versus Gunnison.

Up next for the Dinos they will head to Mount Pleasant on Tuesday for the North Sanpete Tournament, and then will be home again on Thursday to face Juab.
