Setting the tone with a dominate first half, the Carbon Lady Dinos dismantled the Parowan Rams 8-2 Tuesday afternoon in the first road contest of the 2020 season.

Responding to last week’s loss to the Manti Templars, the Lady Dinos held a 6-0 lead over Parowan going into the break. The dominance continued by the reserve group as Carbon eased its way to the six goal victory.

Ryan Brady added two more goals to her early season impressive total. Kacie Brady helped push the Carbon offense by scoring three goals. Amaiah Timothy, Molly Banks and Saydee Johnson each added one in the victory.

Tuesday’s win moves Carbon to 2-1 on the season. The Lady Dinos have shined defensively allowing just one first half goal combined in the three contests.

Carbon will now shift its focus to the third home game of the season on Thursday when they welcome in Maeser Prep. Entering the game against with a 1-2 record, Maeser will look to rebound from a 3-2 loss Tuesday to North Sanpete.

Thursday’s home contest is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.. It also represents the final home tilt of the month. Carbon is set to open Region 12 play on Sept. 1 at home against South Sevier.
