The Carbon Dino tennis team traveled to the Snow Tournament on Tuesday and seem to be hitting their stride. The Dinos faced teams from Gunnison, North Sanpete and Juab going 3-0.

In the first set of matches against Juab on the singles side Nicole Swasey won her singles match 6-1, 6-3. The double team of Alex Cartwright and Kaydance Scovill found victory 6-3, 6-1 as did the doubles team of Alyssa Ellis and Lizzy Blackburn 6-1 and 6-1.

The next team they faced was from Gunnison and all teams won their matches 5-0.

The final team that The Dinos faced was from North Sanpete. On the singles side Lizzy Blackburn won her match in straight sets 6-0, 6-0. It took Nicole Swasey three sets to win her match 6-2, 3-6 and 10-3. Both doubles teams were victorious as Alex Cartwright and Kaydance Scovill won their match 3-6, 6-0 and 10-2. Alyssa Ellis and Laurie Parry also won 6-4 and 6-4.

Coming up next for the Dinos on Thursday they will welcome Juab to the tennis courts in Price. Matches will begin at 3:30.
