Price, UT – USU Eastern women’s volleyball head coach Danielle Jensen recently announced the hiring of new assistant coach Nesreen Iskandrani.

A 2019 graduate of William Penn University with a degree in History and Political Science, Iskandrani was a four-time letter winner on the court, a two-time team captain, and a four-time Scholar-Athlete in playing the role of outside hitter for the program.

She also spent time coaching at the club level for Albia Aces in Iowa for the past four years.

She will begin her Master’s of Business Administration degree through Utah State University in just a couple weeks.

“I’m so excited to welcome Coach Nez to USU Eastern and as a part of our family.  She has already done an amazing job overseeing the team’s strength and conditioning progress over the Summer.  Her experience and work ethic will be instrumental this year as we continue to build this program around our vision as one of the best in the country,” said coach Jensen.

Nesreen was born and raised in Lawrence, Kansas and is the daughter of Mohammed and Zein Iskandrani.
