After a string of successes recently Carbon welcomed Manti to Price on Friday. Playing in it’s fifth match in four days the Dino tennis squad struggled and lost 5-0.

Carbon started the string of matches on Tuesday at the North Sanpete tournament that saw them go 3-0. Then they followed it up by defeating Juab on Thursday. Friday they faced Manti, which brought it’s own set of challenges.

The Dinos struggled in all aspects with the Templars, losing every match in straight sets. Manti was a top six finisher in last years 3A State Championship Tournament. Carbon failed to win a single set on the day, allowing Manti to leave Price with the sweep.

The Dinos will next face the Grand county Red Devils on Tuesday in Moab. This begins a string of road matches for Carbon. They won’t play at home again until Thursday September 3 when they will face the Richfield Wildcats.
