Mikell Lynn Miller left this earth to begin her next journey after succumbing to injuries related to a car accident on October 26, 2020.

Upon her earthly arrival on September 29,1962, she immediately captured everyone’s hearts with her sparkling blue eyes and copper penny colored curls, only to continue to mesmerize with her wild spirit and keen intelligence.

MiKell was never tethered by the rules of this world because she could always come up with a better way. To MiKell, nothing was impossible, you just had to get creative. She was an inventor, a creator, a treasure hunter, a rock-hound, and marble collector. She loved antiques and refurbishing the broken or mundane into one-of-a-kind-masterpieces with a story to tell. She loved nice things and had very expensive tastes, but she didn’t place value in materialistic things beyond what she could share with the people in her life.

She had an affinity for the world of science and medicine, and even long after her years spent working in the healthcare field, she continued to research the human body and spirit to help others with whatever may be ailing them.

Her wit was unparalleled, and her mind was a workshop for creating and refurbishing ideas into something more meaningful, more hilarious, or more fabulous. She would say, “It’s just that ridiculous ‘n’ stuff” “(or it isn’t)”. Those closest to her felt her love through her non-judgmental words and knowing that she was their best hype-girl. She would passionately agree when you felt slighted, and string curse words on your behalf with a creative fluency like no other. When something went right or it was just a regular old “day out of the blue” she would sing your praises with the same animation and gusto, and her bright blue eyes would sparkle and dance! She taught us to see life like looking through a kaleidoscope, always changing, always vibrant, and it didn’t always look the way everyone else sees it, just turn it and it suddenly looked different.

MiKell will be missed every day by her children and grandchildren: Lynnsi (Drew) Wilde, Kenidee, Kaston, and Blu; Holli (Jesse) Barker, Rylar and Case; Kellson (Ashley) Miller, Evan, siblings: Maurdi (Blair) Larsen, Mikay Potter, Sterling (Shirley) Miller, Joel (Jennifer) Miller, Gretsel (Andy) Marshall; step-father, Clifford Oviatt; and all her nieces and nephews.

She is now reunited with her mom (Verlynn Oviatt); her dad (Hans Miller); grandparents (Harriet and Frank Jensen) (Gretsel and Lieb Miller); and her niece (Rachel Miller).

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020, 1:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Funeral Home. MiKell will later be laid to rest next to her mom in the Cleveland Town Cemetery.  For the safety of all in attendance, please wear masks and practice social distancing.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and mays share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
