Surrounded by her family, our beloved mother and grandmother, Joan Christine Minerich Lemon, age 95, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2020 in St. George, Utah.

Joan was born January 2, 1925 in Somerset, Colorado to John E. and Hilda Erikson Minerich. She was one of twelve children.  Married E. J. Lemon, October 28, 1941 in Delta, Colorado; their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple.  He preceded her in death on June 15, 2005

Joan will be forever cherished and remembered by her children, Judy (Dale) Andra of St. George, Utah and Jerry (Kathy) Lemon of East Carbon, Utah; nine grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; five brothers, Eric, Franklin, Robert Wayne, Keith and Danny Minerich; and her sister, Thera Sanburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Estel Jr. Lemon, parents and five siblings.

Joan’s life was a living example of compassion and devotion to her family.  She left them with the gift of love that lives on through her art, posterity, and all the beautiful memories held dear by all who know and love her.
