
Herbert Lee Kutkas, age 75, passed away December 5, 2020, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Herb was born May 6, 1945 in Price, Utah to Anthony and Clarice Davis Kutkas. He married the love of his life, LaVon Meyer, on August 7, 1965 in Price, Utah. Together they shared 55 years of wedded bliss. Their lives were further enriched when they welcomed their only child, Toni Lee.
Herb was a lifelong resident of Carbon County. He graduated from Carbon High School in 1963 and later attended Carbon College. He then spent his working days at Koret of California in Price, logging 28 years. He was blessed with many dear co-workers who became dear friends as well.
He loved working around his yard and had a great passion for the outdoors. Herb would spend as much time as he could fishing. Most of all he was a dutiful father to his beloved Toni. He loved her and his family dearly and would do anything he could to make them happy.
Herb will be missed by those that knew and loved him and a community of friends.
He is survived by his dear wife, LaVon; daughter, Toni Lee; brother-in-law, Richard (Thelma) Meyer, Spanish Fork; four nieces, Sherry Paletta, Kandi Kutkas, Davee Kutkas and Amanda Kutkas.
Preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Terry (Linda) Kutkas, Gary (Joyce) Kutkas; niece, Keven Mills; two nephews, Mac and Dean Kutkas.
Funeral service, Thursday, December 10, 2020, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
