The Price City Culture Connection is excited to present A Very Merry Christmas Concert with Angela Murray scheduled to take place on Thursday, December 10 at 7:00 pm. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Angela Murray to discuss the upcoming concert.
After a few hiccups that the concert has faced with a sound engineer it is now set to take place at the Trinity Christian Center rather than the Price City Civic Auditorium. “We’ve got Mary Peacock, she’s done a couple of concerts with me so far, she was in the Christmas one last year. Then our pianist Celeste Sorenson, she is amazing on the piano, she’s joining us again. We have couple of newer faces, some of them have done a couple of concerts with us, we got Michelle Broadhead, and I think everyone knows Chris Winfree, he’s joining us for a second concert this year, and then also his wife has joined us, Paula Winfree is joining us as well, she’s a really good alto,” said Murray. Also scheduled to perform with the group is Ryan Owens and Michael Hughes.
The concert’s musical numbers are sure to get everyone into the holiday spirit as there will be wide array of songs performed throughout the evening. “So we’re going to do kind of a mix of some fun, upbeat Christmas songs like the 12 days After Christmas, for those that have heard that, that’s a fun one. Then some more serious ones, some classics, like Silent Night, Jingle Bells, Sleigh Ride, and then some more modern ones like Believe. So it’s just kind of going to be a variety show of group numbers, solos, duets, it’s going to be a lot of fun,” said Murray. This is a great opportunity to see some talented individuals perform within the community. The Price City Culture Connection can be accessed online at the Price City’s Facebook page.
