Linda Faye Anderson, age 69, of Elmo, Utah, passed away on December 11, 2020 in Price, Utah

Linda was born in Phoenix, AZ to Walter E Miller and Pauline F Miller on January 28, 1951; she went to school in Kingman, AZ, married Chris Anderson of Mt Pleasant, Utah on May 31, 1969 in Kingman.  When first married they traveled for dads job and lived out of a 28’ camp trailer pulled by 67’ Chev Camaro. They finally settled in Elmo where they raised their 4 girls.

Mom loved her family endlessly and loved to have her family surrounding her. She loved watching all the kids sporting events. When she could not go out and about it devastated her.  Mom was also a breast cancer survivor.

Mom had worked at Koret of California as a seamstress for many years. After that she started working at the bowling alley in Helper and work there for 10 years. While there she used her crafty talents to design their float for the Electric Light Parade for many of those years. She followed in her mother’s footsteps and was an avid bowler for most of her life and was a member and officer of the King Koal Bowling Association for many years and was inducted in to the King Koal Hall of Fame in 2014. She bowled for a women’s Coca-Cola team for many years where she traveled nationally with her best friends.  She spent many hours teaching youth bowlers as a licensed bowling coach.  After leaving the bowling alley she continued her talents in making beautiful wedding cakes for many and was known for having the best frosting.  She loved tole painting and spent hours and hours working in her enormous ceramic shop that our dad built and designed just for her. She poured, created and designed countless unique ceramics; she had the ability and creativity to make something out of nothing with everything she did.  She will be very missed by many family and friends.

Mom is survived by her husband of 51 years Chris Anderson, Elmo, Utah; her brother, Bill (Linda) Miller, Kingman, AZ.; 4 daughters, Kerrie (Neil) Sherman Rock Springs, WY., Krista (Lee) Mounteer, Huntington, UT., Cassie (Ben) Mecham, McAlester, OK., Kelly (Dustin) Scovill, Helper, UT.; grandkids, Tealee (Luis), Kira (Greg), Makia (Josh), Krystal (Jose), Holli (Kelly), Ace (Lacey), Gracee, Allye, Makayla, Raigan, Braylie along with 15 great-grandkids; Sister In-law, Sue Miller.
