Our beloved husband, father, son and brother, Thomas Michael Melo, 47, passed away December 14, 2020 at Timpanogos Regional Hospital.

He was born March 24, 1973 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to John A. and Diane Joe Melo.  On November 1, 2013, he married Staci K. Higley in Helper, Utah.

Thomas was a longtime resident of Carbon County and a graduate of Carbon High School.  He honorably served his country in the US Army.  Thomas shared a great love for the outdoors, driving truck and riding his Harley.  At the time of his passing, he was presently employed with Nielson Construction where he will be dearly missed.  Thomas also shared a passion for music and he loved nothing more than playing his guitar.  Family meant everything to Thomas and he cherished every moment spent with them. He will be sorely missed by family and a community of friends.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Staci Melo, their children, Dalton, Austin, Ty, Aubrey, Kylie and Michaela; four grandchildren, Zoey, Jerristyn, Dean and Oakley; parents, John and Diane Melo; sister, Charlotte (Jeremy) Craig; his in-laws; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Thomas was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Kay Melo; brother, Johnny Melo; and his grandparents, John and Shirley Melo, and Thelma Joe.

Funeral service for Thomas will be Friday, December 18, 2020, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home in Price where the family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
