Tab Henry Weihing, 60, passed away unexpectedly in his home, next to his wife, Jackie Weihing, on December 29, 2020.

He grew up in Green River, UT, where he enjoyed outdoor activities and playing competitive sports. He played fullback at Dixie State College. He went on to serve the people in Madrid, Spain on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Upon completion of his mission, he was set up on a blind date with his sweetheart, Jackie. They met and were engaged three dates later. They married and raised three beautiful daughters and one amazing son. He was a local business owner, taking him around the county and building relationships everywhere he went. He prided himself on his hard work.

Tab loved to be involved and serve in the community. He spent many years utilizing his Spanish-speaking skills from his church mission by serving as the branch president in the Spanish Branch in Huntington. He was never one to refuse help to anyone; whether it was providing work for someone to earn some money or quickly getting a rental available for someone to live, or hiring someone that may not be able to find a job elsewhere, he was always quick to help. He was kind and patient and always willing to see the best in people. He was always a good listening ear.

He enjoyed officiating high school basketball, softball, and volleyball, and did so for many years. He could build or fix anything and usually did so with little to no help. He kept busy with house and yard projects. He had a green thumb and enjoyed sharing what he grew. He was a fun grandpa that loved to tease and play with his grandkids. They all loved swimming in the hot tub with grandpa no matter what the temperature was outside. He is so loved and will be greatly missed on this earth.

Tab is survived by his best friend and wife, Jackie Martinez Weihing; daughters, Monica (Dustin) Wardle, Mandi (Jarvis) Olsen, Adriane (Andrew) Olsen; son, Taylor (Samantha) Weihing; siblings, Kam (Becky) Weihing, Regi (Ted) Magleby, Jana (Dale) Bradshaw; eight grandchildren, Daija, Dreyden, Mya, Stacia, Lyla, Logan, Molly, and Cooper.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Arlene Weihing; and his sister, Stacia Weihing.
