The Emery High School wrestling team participated in the final regular season meet of the season, dominating the North Sanpete Hawks 78-0 Tuesday evening in Mount Pleasant.

Facing the Hawks in a meet that was originally scheduled to take place earlier in the season, the Spartans won each of the varsity matches and also ended perfect in JV. The team victory included eight pins, two of which took place in the first 40 seconds of the match.

With Tuesday’s make-up meet now in the books, the Spartans will take the remainder of this week off to prepare for the Divisional Tournament next week in Kamas. The qualifiers from that meet will then advance to the State Championship Tournament in mid February.
