A candlelight vigil has been put together for 11-year-old, Holly Fox on Wednesday, March 31 at 8:00 pm at Sunnyside Park. Community members are invited to attend.

Fox passed away on Sunday, March 28 in an early morning house fire that took place on Carson Street in East Carbon. The East Carbon Fire Department was dispatched to the residence and was assisted by Wellington City Fire Department. During the efforts, firefighters were notified that there was possibly a child still inside the home and they made entry into the home. Within minutes of entering the home through the bedroom window, the 11-year-old girl was located, removed and loaded into a waiting ambulance and transported. The child was taken to Castleview Hospital where she was pronounced.
