Carolyn Jewkes Watkins Sherrill, age 77, passed away April 3, 2021 in Price.

She was born on May 13, 1943 to Lamar and Thelma Jewkes in Price, Utah. She was married to Dennis Frank Watkins for over 35 years before he passed away from cancer. Carolyn was lucky to find love a second time with Arden Sherrill of Green River, Utah. They have been married over 23 years.

Carolyn and Dennis raised three boys in Price, Utah. Carolyn is survived by Bevan (Charla) Watkins, Mark (Marlene) Watkins, and Roger (Lynae) Watkins. She enjoyed spending any time she could with her 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Arden’s family became as close as her own. Her family grew by leaps and bounds. His family, Peggy (Ken) Jereb, Ray (Sandie) Sherrill, Jodi (Lani) Stradling, Bryan (Kari) Sherrill and Eric Sherrill brought her life 21 more grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Carolyn was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was proud to hold many callings over the years. Her interests included traveling, reading, sewing and most of all spending time with family. We must not forget how much she loved her pets Pib, Tuffy, Dutchess and Holly!

She is survived by her husband Arden Sherrill, her sister Marianne Bennett, all of her children and grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Lamar and Thelma Jewkes, first husband Dennis Watkins, brother Joseph Jewkes, and granddaughter Amber Lee Jereb.

Funeral service, Saturday, April 10, 2021, 11:00 a.m., Green River Ward Chapel where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Graveside service will be held the same day, at the Price City Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Funeral & graveside service will be live streamed on www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
