Carbon received a stellar performance from Cooper Schade at the plate as he blasted a home run in the seventh inning on his way to a 3-4 mark, with three RBIs. Schade also doubled in the sixth inning, scoring Wyatt Falk on a double.
As a team the Dinos finished with 12 hits, five of which came with extra bases. Rylan Hart ended 3-4 with one RBI, while Keaton Rich and Falk also gathered multiple hits.

Tyler Stilson logged the lone RBI for the Spartans as he singled to center field in the sixth inning to bring in Jace Mangum. Jax Madsen, Gannon Ward Luke Stilson and Oakley Alton also finished with one hit each.
Tuesday’s win keeps Carbon’s perfect league record intact as they now sit at 7-0. With only three games remaining on the Region 12 schedule the Dinos are one win away from clinching the division crown.
The Spartans are now 5-2 in league play and currently second in the division. With one game against Carbon and two against Richfield still on the schedule, a league championship is still a possibility.
The two teams will return to the field on Friday for the second and final meeting of the season. The venue will shift to Carbon High School and the first pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 3:30 p.m..
