Our special angel and beloved sister, Virginia “Ginny” Christine Rice, 59, passed away peacefully May 2, 2021 while surrounded by her family at Pinnacle Nursing & Rehabilitation where she resided for the past 18 years.

Virginia was born March 13, 1962 in Price, Utah to DeLong and Ida Marie Cesario Rice. Ginny was a lifelong resident of Carbon County who attended Ann Self Center and the Castle Valley Center for many years. Ginny was a free spirit who was always on the go.  She was very ambitious and kept everyone on their toes. She enjoyed coloring, playing with her toys and ironing board, and camping with her family. Virginia touched the lives of many and her sweet spirit will be cherished forever.

She is survived by her loving sister, Deanne L. Rice, East Carbon; and the loving staff and residents at Pinnacle Nursing where she was adored by all.

Ginny was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Bonnie J. Rice.

Funeral service, Wednesday, May 5, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at Pinnacle Nursing & Rehabilitation where a viewing will take place one hour prior to service.  Burial will follow in the Price City Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her parents.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
