Marion Frances D’Ambrosio Cha, age 94, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2021.

She was born May 21, 1926 in Price, Utah to Pete and Franchesca Compagna D’Ambrosio.

Married Joseph Antonio Cha on June 29, 1953 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Marion enjoyed watching the Jazz games, game shows, playing cards and listening to music, especially Italian music.  She enjoyed watching her grandchildren, visiting friends and tending to her flowers and plants.  Marion was an active member of Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church.  Her children and grandchildren were her main focus in life.  Marion worked for JC Penny in the 1940’s and 1950’s and then later worked for Safeway.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survived by her children, Joseph Cha, Wellington; Stephen (Pam) Cha, Wellington, Julieanne (Richard) Wentz, Salt Lake City, Elena (Jack) Hatch, Valparaiso, Indiana, David (Crystal) Cha, West Jordan, Marianne (Randall) Filbert, Battle Ground, WA, James (Jennifer) Cha, West Jordan; grandchildren, Mallorie (Jake Smith) Hatch, Christopher Hatch, Joshua Cha, Mandilyn Cha, Stephanie Cha, Samantha Cha, Katelen Cha and Kaston Cha; great granddaughter, Adelei.

Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Cha; parents; and all of her siblings.

The family would like to thank Community Nursing Services of Price; especially Carrie, Candace, Madison and Dave Nelson.

Funeral Mass, Thursday, May 20, 2021, 10:00 a.m., Notre Dame Catholic Church.  Vigil service, Wednesday evening, 7:00 p.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church where the family will receive friends Wednesday and Thursday one hour prior to services.  Interment, Price City Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church in Price.
