Scofield is a great spot to fish for cutthroat, rainbow and tiger trout. Try using lures like Berkley swim shads. The water temperature is 59-71 degrees and the visibility in the water is only about 3 feet because of algae already showing up. The reservoir level is 50% full and dropping. Most of the fish are hooked in shallow (10 inches to 4 feet) water. This fishing is really picking up around the state parks and on the west shore.
