Margie Yvone Martinez Fitzgerald, 65, passed away peacefully June 18, 2021 at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born May 20, 1956 in Price, Utah to Thomas and Josephine Lohman Martinez.  On June 12, 2012, she married the love of her life, Orvelin Pineda in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Margie and Orvelin enjoyed traveling and her fondest memories where those whiling traveling extensively in Mexico.

Margie was a former resident of Carbon County and a member of the Catholic Church.  She loved riding horses, fishing, camping and her trips to Wendover.  Family meant everything to Margie and she especially loved family get-togethers. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Orvelin Pineda, West Jordan; one son, two daughters and five step-children, Greg Jaimez, Darmel Leonaquiz, Jennifer Jaimez, all of Salt Lake City, Liliana, Orbelin, Cinthya, Oscar and Nancy Pineda; five brothers and three sisters, Dorothy (Manuel) Trujillo, Clearfield, Tommy Martinez and Nancy, Price, Michael (Karen) Martinez, Ivins, Robert (Ann) Martinez, Cedar City, James Martinez, West Jordan, Martha (Mike) Kilcrease, Carbonville, Patrick Martinez, Wellington, and Genevieve Martinez, East Carbon; many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Mass, Wednesday, June 23, 2021, 10:00 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church (210 North Carbon Ave.) Price, Utah.  Vigil service, Tuesday evening 7:00 p.m. at the church in Price.  Family will receive friends at Notre Dame Catholic Church Tuesday and Wednesday one hour prior to services.  Committal service, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
