Our loving daughter, sister, niece, cousin and dear friend, ShyAnn Dawn LaCotta, age 22, passed away June 17, 2021 in her home in Wellington, Utah.

She was born February 17, 1999 in Price, Utah to Dean Allen LaCotta Jr. and LeeOra Clark LaCotta. She attended school locally, and graduated from Carbon High School.

ShyAnn loved her family, friends, and her cat, “Kitler.” She enjoyed camping and going to Lake Powell. She loved singing, reading, dancing (freestyle dork), messing around with family and friends, doing makeup, and gaming. Her Mom’s seafood pasta was her absolute favorite, and she requested it on her birthday each year. While living in Arizona, she managed two pool and spa stores and absolutely loved it. She also enjoyed modeling and dressing up.

While her time with us was far too short, she truly blessed the lives of everyone who knew her. She had a smile that could light up a room, the most beautifully contagious laugh, and she brought us so much happiness and joy.

She is survived by her mother, LeeOra LaCotta; father, Dean LaCotta Jr.; brothers, Bowan LaCotta and Lance LaCotta; great-grandmother, Ruth Flynn; grandfather, Alva “Smokey” Clark; grandfather, Dean LaCotta Sr.; aunts and uncles, Jerod (Jamie) LaCotta, Kim (Chad) Tatton, Bobbi (Brian) Justice, and Laird (Kate) Clark; her cat, Kitler; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and “Framily.”

ShyAnn is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Cleora Clark and Diana LaCotta; and her dogs, Doc and Powder.

The family would like to thank their family, friends and community for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.

Memorial service, Friday, June 25, 2021, 1:00 pm.,  Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price where the family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
