Now that the school year has ended, post season sports awards have started trickling out over the past weeks. The 3A All-State soccer selections were announced this week and after finishing the regular region season with an 8-2 record and 9-6 overall, three Carbon Dinos were added to the Honorable Mention list with the best players in the class.
Noah Bradford, senior forward for the Dinos was integral to Carbon’s success this year with his 15 goals along with 11 assists totaling 41 points on the season. Bradford had three multiple goal games including back-to-back contests against South Sevier and San Juan where he scored three goals in each. At the end of the regular season Bradford was in the top 10 statistically in the state in goals, assists and points across all classes.
Another senior, midfielder Eli Beecher made the list as well. Beecher scored 11 goals on the season adding seven assists and totaled 29 points. Beecher had three multiple goal games including a three score outing against San Juan in April.
Max Lancaster, senior defender rounded out the trio of Dinos. The Carbon defense was stout this year giving up just 1.2 goals per game. Registering seven shutouts on the year and separate three and for game streaks where they did not allow any goals. Lancaster also added one goal and six assists collecting six points on the season.
The 3A-All State selections were voted on by the coaches throughout the classification.
