A light has gone out in the world on June 22, 2021, when we lost Tyrone Bonner at the age of 40 due to complications stemming from ongoing health issues.

He was born December 9, 1980 in Theue, Korea to Joel Bonner and Yanga No.

Whenever Tyrone came around there were always smiles, laughter and good times.  The biggest smile was usually his and would make you smile along with him no matter how bad things were going for you.  He would always go out of his way to make you feel welcome and that you were a part of the crew.  You never felt left out or unimportant when Tyrone was around.

Tyrone, affectionately known as T or T-Bone among other nicknames, was a man of intelligence possessing many skills and talents most of which he taught to himself.  From art to computers, dancing, piano, and parkour he could do it all.  The list of his skills talents and accomplishments goes on and on.  Notable was his time he spent breakdancing at C.E.U. and drawing Panda cartoons for The Eagle newspaper where he won several awards and was also part of student government.

Tyrone was wise beyond his years and was always willing to listen and do whatever he could to help a friend.  He was a companion, teacher, mentor, and friend. You were lucky to meet him and even more so to get to spend time with him.  You were blessed to know him and twice as much if you were among his circle of friends.  But you were truly, truly blessed if you were privileged to be able to call him family.

Truly one of a kind, here’s to the decades homie, you are loved and already sorely missed.

A special thank you to Monique Egan, her children, and parents for all their love and support.  Also, to all of the special friends that have helped Tyrone.

Memorial service, Tuesday, June 29, 2021, 10:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home where family will receive friends one hour prior to service.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
