On June 24, 2021 our sweet Diane passed away due to complications from a stroke.  She was born April 20, 1953 in Price, Utah.

She was a wonderful mother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved to cook for others and was known for her homemade rolls!!! She loved to sew, shop for bargains, go for walks, and ‘piddle around’. She was very good with children, plants and she always had her makeup and nails done. She was the family beautician! We have many fun and happy memories with her.

Diane was preceded in death by her mother, Maxine Blackburn Henningson and step-father, Neil Henningson. She was also preceded in death by her son, Erik Walter Oviatt and daughter Holly Ann Oviatt, who were the loves of her life. We take great comfort knowing they are together again.

Survived by siblings; Shauna Erickson, Lisa (Tom) Tippetts, Denise (Irv) Hillman, Joanne (Jeff) Braby, Leonard (Terry) Dennison and many nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt Di.

The family wants to thank the staff at St. Mark’s ICU who cared for Diane and helped her have a peaceful passing.

Though we will miss her terribly, Diane always said “If I die, be happy for me, because I will be with my kids again.”
