Castleview Hospital is hosting Kids Day on Friday, July 30 at the Price City International Days celebration. They have scheduled several fun activities for the youngest community members to enjoy on Friday morning.
“Kid’s Day is going to be kicking off Price City International Days along with the Kid’s Parade as every year. Castleview Hospital is a very, very proud sponsor of Kid’s Day. We know that our mission in making communities healthier truly starts with our youth because if we can instill good health, good visions, good drive in our children its going to improve our community for years and years to come,” said Hospital Representative, Amanda Paiz. This event is held every year as the kick off to International Days and Castleview Hospital invites several different agencies to be a part of the Kid’s Day festivity. The C.A.R.E. Coalition, Price Fire Department, Carbon County EMS and Carbon County Family Support Center & Children’s Justice Center will be in attendance.
“Kid’s Day starts at 10:00 am and of course it will be located in the same location, right across from the Desert Wave Pool on the USU Eastern campus grounds right there in the lawn part. We’re going to have bounce houses from Den and Jen’s Bouncers with Riley Leautaud. We’re going to have 300 free kid’s snow cones once again this year and we’ve partnered up with Canyon Ice to help provide that to the community. We have pretty much all of our providers in the Castle Valley area are going to be present, right there at Kid’s Day with fun activities, games, prizes at every single booth – great giveaways,” said Paiz. The Castleview Hospital booth will have a hydration table available so that children stay cool and hydrated during the event.
This and many other events held throughout the year are a way for Castleview Hospital to give back to the community. “Our mission that we make every decision around is making communities healthier so any opportunity we have to bring families closer together we just want to take advantage of that,” stated Paiz. Other free events they host during the year are the Halloween Trunk or Treat, Santa Express and an ice skating party.
