We hope you’re happy and at peace.
Patricia Ruth Pool, passed away July 16th, 2021.
She was born December 6th, 1934, in Caddo County, Oklahoma to Fred and Alma Gilbert.
At an early age Patricia enjoyed the farm with her parents, riding horses to get where she needed to go and she loved swimming. She was the oldest of five siblings; Bud, Frieda, Mary, and Jerry.
At the young age of 17 she married Raymond Dale Pool in 1951. They had three children, Terry Lynn Peretti, Diann Martino, and Steven Dale Pool. They traveled and lived in many states while she served as an Air Force wife. They enjoyed many adventures and family travels together.
They later lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico for many years. Then settled in Oklahoma, before moving to Price in 2008, for support from family.
Pat worked for Sears stores in all the towns they lived in; she worked in sales, display and decorated the store windows. Later she worked at a bank in loan processing when interest rates were 25%.
Pat was always dressed up. She also enjoyed bowling, painting, decorating, singing at church, reading Danielle Steel novels, collecting pretty jewelry, watching “Bold and Beautiful” with her daughter Diann and most of all her little doggie Coco of 17 years.
Survived by her daughter, Diann (Sam) Martino; grandchildren and great grandchildren who called her Grandma Pat, Mandy Peretti (Joey Fox), Hailey and Kayden; Matt (Cheryl) Peretti, Bradlee, Andrew and Vinny; Karen Martino-Basso (Jory), Chari, Jaxton and Skylynn; Mark, Sammy and Vivianna Martino. Her sisters, Frieda (Tage) Thomsen of Denver, CO; Mary (Jesse) Layton, of Grand Junction, CO; and brother, Jerry Gilbert of New Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Dale Pool; daughter, Terry Lynn Peretti; son, Steven Dale Pool and little doggie Coco.
The family would like to express a very special heartfelt thank you to Rex Howa for the sincere poems, prayers and thoughts at the service (and showing up when you did); and Mitchell Funeral Home for the private family services.
