*Scofield Reservoir:* ★★★★
There’s a large harmful algal bloom in the reservoir. Please make sure to avoid it. People and pets should not go swimming near it. Scofield is a great spot to fish for cutthroat, rainbow and tiger trout. Try using lures such as Berkley swim shads. The water temperature is 59 to 71 degrees and the visibility in the water is only about 3 feet because of algae already showing up. The reservoir level is 50% full and dropping. Most of the fish are hooked in shallow (10 inches to 4 feet) water. Water is low and conditions are hot. This fishing is really picking up around the state parks and on the west shore.
