After taking a break last Saturday it’s time once again for another gathering at Helper Saturday Vibes on August 14 and Coordinator, Kimberly Kuehn stopped by Castle Country Radio to share all the details of this week’s event.

Things kick off at 4:00 pm with one of two bands taking the stage. “Memphis McCool is opening up from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and we’re excited to have them, they’re a great crowd pleaser, jam, dance, and they’re just really known to pick it up. As far as like cover bands, their own music, everything like all mixed in one, dancing is definitely a pleasing thing with this band,” stated Kuehn.

The second band taking the stage at 7:00 pm will be a group out of Grand County called Stonefed. “A lot of people know Stonefed because they are more local. They are just great. Jasper is from Emery County and they are just all into the dead and they closed for Alta Ski season last year outside and it was really fun. I was like, oh my gosh let’s get Stonefed on the Helper stage, let’s do this,” said Kuehn. They are a jam band that have been playing together since 1999.

There will be food trucks available to purchase items for dinner while enjoying the music. “So the food trucks this weekend is Smokin Roadside Grill, El Sarten, and Slosh Burgers,” said Kuehn. They each will offer some affordable and delicious food items for guests to enjoy throughout the evening.

Officials have also arranged for vendors to be available at the event. “We’ve got to Dye For which is tie dye apparel, Fat Cat Customs which is metal art, and I mean these are a couple of, you know, the flavors. Golden Circle Movement soaps, Rolling Wind Microfarm which is all locally grown produce in Helper. We’ve got Recyclops as a great partner, in regards to our sustainable efforts. So we are extremely excited about that partnership because it really is making movement,” stated Kuehn. Many of the Helper Saturday Vibes visitors have learned and signed up for the Recyclops services.
