The Lady Dino Tennis team traveled to Juab for a scheduled contest with the Wasps. Throughout the afternoon the matches were close but at the end of the day the Wasps collected the 4-1 win over Carbon.

In the first of three singles matches Lizzy Blackburn lost to Emmalee Wilmore in straight sets 6-4 and 6-4. Lindsey Snow earned the only victory for the Dinos in her match with Hannah Echols 6-0 and 6-2. In third singles, Laurie Parry lost her match to Emmy Lovell, winning the first set 6-4 and dropping the final two 6-2 and 10-6 in the third set tiebreak.

In doubles, Kaydance Scovill and Ella Anderson dropped their contest with Nikki Matheson and Averee Hatfield 7-6 and 6-2 and in the second doubles match Alyssa Ellis and Lyndie Richardson lost to the team of Lily Parkin and Leah Thomas in straight sets 7-6 and 6-0.

With four seniors and three juniors on this years team, the Dinos will be leaning on their experience as well as looking for the underclassmen to step up.

The Dinos are back on the road on Tuesday at Maeser Prep and then again Wednesday in Manti.

Their next home match will be on Aug. 31 when San Juan comes to Price.
