Robert James Richardson (AKA Mouse), age 74, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at his home in Price, Utah while surrounded by family.

Robert was born December 1, 1946 in East Carbon, Utah to Clifford Richardson and Lucille Blackburn.  He was the second of four children.

Robert married Susan Louise Wiswell August 22, 1970, just celebrating their 51st anniversary.

He graduated from East Carbon High School in May of 1965.  After graduating High School Robert enlisted into the U.S. Airforce where he served honorably for three years.  Robert had various jobs, however being a coal miner and long-haul truck driver were the jobs he loved most.  Robert was a simple man enjoying the outdoors, camping, fishing and spending time with his family.  He also enjoyed hanging out with various coffee shops throughout the years drinking coffee and sharing stories, and WERE there stories and telling bad jokes.  Robert enjoyed watching football whenever he could get away with it.  If you were anywhere around you always knew when something happened because of his shouting.  It didn’t matter where he went, he always knew someone and had to stop and shoot the bull.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; his six children, Daniel (Tonya), Ricky, Christine (Michael), Jamie (Daniel), Reign and McAiden; 25 grandchildren, three of which he raised, Kyla, Zach and Jacleiaka Gibson; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Smith, April (Mike) Riley; sister-in-law, Peggy Rathburn-Barney; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marvin Richard; great granddaughter, Serenity.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
