Vicki Delores Peterson Ferrero, age 80, died on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in Salt Lake City.
She was born July 7, 1941 in Safford, Arizona, to Herbert Borst “Pete” Peterson and Ruth Maxine Craig.
Vicki was a loving wife, an amazing mother, a kind friend to many, and very generous to anyone in need. She was a very talented artist, swimmer, a great cook and lover of Mexican cuisine. She loved the outdoors and appreciated flowers and birds. Vicki loved to take family vacations (probably her favorite was in a renovated school bus through Oregon and California). She always took time to listen to others. She admired her mother Maxine and worked beside her in their cafe located in Cisco, Utah. Vicki cherished her kids, and had a deep love and faith in our Heavenly Father.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Borst “Pete” Peterson and Ruth Maxine Craig; husband, Charles Ferrero; and a daughter, Chantelle DeSantis.
Survived by her sister, Shelia (Jerry) Bittle of Salt Lake City Utah; brother, Mark (Yolonda) Peterson of Phoenix, Arizona (son of Herbert Borst “Pete” Peterson and Lonnie Peterson); daughter, Diane Bingham of Salt Lake City; son, Troy (Stacey) Miller; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
